Why the pigs?

Well, this is going to be obvious for anyone ever involved in processing a larger dataset.

However, if you are lucky enough to be using only insights provided by data, you might be surprised we do not advertise ourselves as

a team of dedicated professionals, working with love and passion for data, thriving in an agile environment to provide you with results of transformative potential for the whole of your business;

but instead we prefer to picture ourselves as a bunch of pigs rooting in mud.

The reasons are as follows, in random order:

  • we like pigs
  • working with data is both enjoyable and dirty
  • not everything you find is gold, many times it’s just excessive spaces
  • pigs tend to be passionate when it comes to seeking things (try distracting them from rooting) and can be really fast (try running away after successfully interrupting them)
  • they are way more honest and friendly than an average team of professionals

As a side note, the main artwork is a variation on „Pigs at the Trough”, a painting by Joseph Crawhall from 1884.
